Today (Wed) I went back to Rocky Mountains National Park and took a good solid hike up the Fern Lake Trial, past Arch Rock, to "the Pools" on Big Thompson River, and up towards Cub Lake from the Fern Lake Falls Trail. I left the trailhead and hit the trail around 1:00 pm, and got back to the parking lot a little before six. However, I probably only logged about six or seven miles during all that time... I stopped a lot, resting and catching my breath, and taking lots of pictures.
Let's see if I can post a few. Here is a picture of a rainbow as I approached the Nebraska Thunderstorm.Here is a picture of the storm after it had passed. Notice the funny looking clouds. The clouds are pink because of the sunset.
Here is a picture of the sunset. -->Lily Lake is on the eastern side of the Rocky Mountain National Park, on highway 7, about five miles south of Estes Park. It has a very nice hiking trail around the lake. This picture is approaching Lily Lake. I really love wilderness hiking...
I have a timer on my camera. As long as I can find a flat rock, or wide tree limb, or other support that will hold my camera, I can set the timer for 10 seconds, and get in front of the lens and the camera will take my picture. This was taken on the far side of Lily Lake Trail.
Another view of Lily Lake, this time looking south from the north end of the lake. I'm 3/4 of the way around the lake here. There is no sign posting the altitude here, but I believe it is around 9,500 feet above sea level.

I saw your comment on Dubby's and 'Monkey's' blog about the problems you were having posting pictures. I can't solve all the problems, but I do have one suggestion.
In my experience with Blogger, YES, they always add the pictures to the top of the post, regardless of where the cursor is or whatever else you might try. So, my work around is to post the pictures first -- then write my post around the pictures. It works very well for me.
Also, Blogger seems to post the pictures backwards... When you upload pictures, Blogger lets you upload up to 5 at a time. Blogger brings up 5 boxes, and you select the 5 pictures to be uploaded. It seems to me that Blogger always posts the pictures in reverse order... So you tell it to first upload image1, THEN image2, image3, image4, image5... but when you view them on your blog they display as image5, image4, image3, image2, image1 (backwards!). If you attempt to upload them in reverse order, it can save you some time in the long run. (Does this even make sense? It's almost 2 am here, so forgive me if it doesn't)
