Allen and Dubby really enjoyed just sitting on the grass in the shade and feeling the softness. Allen said that in Djibouti, a majority of the population lives and dies never having seen grass and trees like this.
The gardens were lovely.
Allen and I walked downtown tonight after dinner. The photo below was taken at 10:45 p.m. local time... notice the sky is still light. The sun is up until almost 10 o'clock at night here, and it's light again around 4:30 a.m.
