Photos ... as promised
On Monday and Tuesday, June 22 and 23, I went into the Rocky Mountains National Park to do some hiking. As promised, here are some photographs I took. Yes, I took all of the pictures on all of the following posts... every one. While they may look like post cards, believe me they are real photographs of the actual scenery I encountered Monday and Tuesday. I wasn't in Argentina, I was TAKING THESE PHOTOGRAPHS. Honest.
Don't just scroll through the tiny thumbnails on this blog. Take the time to click on the pictures, and enjoy the larger versions. This scenery is breathtaking in person. There are over a dozen new posts below with my pictures, so ENJOY. Please comment and let me know what you think, so I'll know that someone besides me is enjoying this beauty.

Beautiful photos. . . that's just incredible. . .
It's kinda cool how you can find shirts that are exactly the same color as your hair. . .

Oh, sure. You took these yourself. Riiiiiiight....(JK)
They are incredible, and they help you appreciate the awesome beauty of America. Did you see any moose? I've always wanted to see one in the wild, but they are elusive (and mean, I understand). I saw a wolverine in Montana once, but still no moose.
On another subject, in your profile - when you say "gray-haried", is that a play on words, or just a typo from - ahem - a college professor?
Reply to Gary Ray: "The Bee's Knees".
Reply to Tam-Tam: Thanks for the spell-check. No, I haven't seen a moose in the park, on any of my trips. However, I did see on about 20 years ago when I had taken my scouts on a 50-mile hike in the wilderness of Isle Royale National Park in the middle of Lake Superior. You are right, they are huge, and according to LintMonkey, generally very mean and agressive, although the ones on Isle Royale are a little more laid back.
tee hee, he apologized for the spellcheck and then wrote agressive.
David seldom makes speling mistakes!
These are beautiful pictures. You are so lucky to get to see it all. Thank you for the postcard, I don't know who liked it more, Pat or the girls!
