Watch This Space...
Yep, I'm back in Colorado, getting ready for the AIS Educator Conference. And I've been doing some blue-ribbon hiking in the Rocky Mountains National Park wilderness areas. I've taken a ton of neat pictures, everything from Jewel Lake, to a snowshoe hare, to a fantastically-brilliant rainbow, to a colorful mallard on Bierstadt Lake, to a new photo of a ruby-throated hummingbird -- this time showing his ruby throat!
The main problem, however, is finding time to re-size the pictures (to save precious space on this chintzy blogspot server, where I'm using most of my capacity quota already!), then more time to wait for the eternity it takes to upload them to the blog, and then more time to re-arrange them in the proper order (since blogspot corrupts the order in the upload process) and even more time to write something about the photos.
Tomorrow I have to do laundry, and I honestly have to spend the day putting together my presentation powerpoints, and I also have to drive the four hours down to Colorado Springs, so it may be a couple of days before those pictures get up here. But they are coming -- I promise! Keep watching. Oh, and if you care, please comment here and let me know that it's worth all the effort. I'd hate to spend all that time if nobody is going to even look at them.
