If you know anything at all about real hummingbirds, you'll know it takes a lot of patience to photograph them. I got about 10 good photos, and it took about 80 snapshots across a total time period of several hours to get these.

One of the hardest things is to get the darn camera to autofocus on the bird and not the background. Another hard thing is to get the darn camera to take the picture when I press the shutter button and not a second or two later.

This is a really lucky shot! I'm impressed at the shutter speed of the camera.
