Lancaster Pennsylvania: Music in the Streets

Amazing! The city of Lancaster has pianos sitting outside on the sidewalk, everywhere you turn. No joke. Every couple of blocks, there's a piano! Anyone can sit down and play them.
They were purchased by the funds from a rich person, and are kept up by "sponsors" who have their name on the piano -- keeping it tuned, painted, etc.
The one below has a plexiglas front so you can see the workings of the levers and hammers as you play.

That's freakin' AWESOME! But the real question is... were they in tune?

I LOVE this!!! This is even cooler than the ponies in flight near Kitty Hawk, NC, or the cool statues in Henderson, NV.
I LOVE this!!!
and I seriously LOVE the way you play the piano, David. Wish I could have been there!
