I took the following pictures Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. They aren't professional quality, but here they are. I hope you enjoy them.
Inside the new Conference Center is an art gallery. There must be several hundred world-class original paintings, including all 12 of the paintings which appear in the modern issues of the Book of Mormon. I learned something new today. Arnold Friberg, the artist who did all those paintings, also did all the mural and matte paintings for Cecil B. DeMille's movie The Ten Commandments. He also painted the painting of George Washington kneeling in prayer beside his horse.
The conference center seats 21,000 people, not including the 250 on the stage.
This statue is in the visitor center.
Yep, that's be in the center below. They wouldn't let me play the organ, stinkers.

David, thank you for posting those night shots of the temple... lovely... just made me want to jump in my car and head there.
Thanks again.ToniAnne
Thank you for our post card! Again, I am jealous. I got to see the conference hall right before we left. It's impressive huh? The outside is awesome too, with the man made streams.
Those pictures are fantastic! I really want to visit there someday.
These pictures of the temple are simply terrific. Love the angles. You seemed to capture it without all the construction and busyness around it.
Serene. Good job.
