Aankomst en Antwerpen

Arrived in Belgium. Smooth flight, caught the jet stream with a 250 mph tailwind and arrived in Brussels an hour earlier than scheduled. Thanks to our good friend Jim who met us at the airport, we are setting up housekeeping in our old Keizerstraat apartment in the city center of Antwerp. Jim will use his truck to take us grocery shopping shortly, saving us a long walk with heavy groceries. We'll verify our ATM cards are working, and get set up with our bus passes, our rail passes, etc. later today or tomorrow, depending on how hard the jet lag hits us. It's 3 in the morning in the U.S. as I write this at 9 a.m. Belgian time. Much has changed since we were here last, but much is the same. More later.
