Although not a formal "trip" per se, most of the reunion students went together to Brugge (Bruges in French), a picturebook medieval village which looks exactly like it did in the 1400's.

As I've said in other posts, Brugge is my favorite European town. Notice the flowers on the quay where the students disembarked from their canalboat ride.

We went to the ChocoTour, a four-story chocolate museum, depicting the history of chocolate, from the Aztecs right up through the modern chocolate factories. Yes, Obama is made of real chocolate, even his shirt is white chocolate.
